We do not use the content you submit or your personal data to train AI models.

Your conversation content is used only to provide the real-time responses required to deliver the service. It is not used for model training or optimization.

This Privacy Policy explains how Quant AI collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our products and services.

This policy applies to the products and services we make available through our websites, applications, APIs, and related channels.

For a quick overview of what data we collect and why, check our [Personal Information Collection List](/personal-info-collection) for more detail on the categories of information we collect and the purposes for which we use it.

## 1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

### 1.1 Account Registration, Login, and Authentication

To complete account registration, login, and identity verification, and to help keep your account secure, you need to register and log in before using certain features. You may do so using an email address and password or an email one-time code (OTP).

In this process, we use your email address for account creation, identity verification, account security management, and essential service communications.

You may also choose to log in with an eligible third-party account, such as Google or Apple. With your authorization, we will obtain the account information that is necessary to create or link your Quant AI account, such as your avatar, display name, email address, and other information you expressly authorize us to access.

### 1.2 AI Conversation Services

When you use AI conversation and related features, we process the content you submit during those interactions, including text, images, and files, in order to understand your request, context, and intended use case and to generate the relevant response or service result.

We do not use your data to train AI models. Your conversation content is used only to provide the real-time responses necessary to deliver the Service and is not used for model optimization, training, or other unrelated purposes.

We recommend that you avoid providing unnecessary sensitive personal information in AI conversations. If the information you submit includes another person's personal information, you should ensure that you have the lawful right and authorization to provide it.

### 1.3 Feedback

When you submit questions, suggestions, or complaints through the feedback feature, we process the issue description, supporting materials, and any contact information you choose to provide so that we can review the matter, communicate with you, and provide a response.

## 3. How We Share Your Information

### 3.1 When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share personal information with third parties only in the following limited circumstances:

### 3.2 Data Protection Standards

Before sharing your information with a third party, we require appropriate security measures and restrict the processing of that information to the agreed purpose and necessary scope. We also carry out reasonable assessments of our service providers to confirm that they meet applicable security and data protection standards.

## 4. Data Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement safeguards that are appropriate to the nature of the data, the business scenario, and the current state of technology, in order to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, use, alteration, or loss:

- Encryption: We use encryption technologies (such as TLS/SSL) to protect data in transit and at rest

## 5. Data Retention and Storage

### 5.1 Storage Location

Your personal information is stored in server environments with appropriate security capabilities. To support service availability, stability, and performance, data may be processed or stored in different locations. Regardless of where processing takes place, we apply appropriate safeguards to protect your information.

### 5.2 Storage Period

We determine retention periods based on service purpose, legal obligations, dispute resolution needs, and operational necessity, and we keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill those purposes:

- Account Information: Retained during the active period of your account and deleted within 7 days after account cancellation. This includes basic information such as username and email address.
- Conversation Records: Retain the most recent 90 days of conversation history to allow you to view past interactions. Records older than 90 days will be automatically anonymized or deleted.

- Cookie Information: Essential cookies last until the end of the session, while functional cookies are retained for a maximum of 13 months.

After you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize information directly associated with your identity within a reasonable period, and where relevant information is stored with third-party service providers, we will also take steps to request corresponding deletion where applicable. Information that must be retained under law, regulation, or legitimate compliance requirements may be kept for a longer period before being deleted or otherwise handled.
